Midnight Book Club is currently on 3 social media platforms: TikTok, Fable, and Discord (links can be found at the bottom of the homepage). I am open to suggestions for other social platforms we could use, either as an additional platform or as a replacement for the current ones, to help build a community for bookish discussions.

I started with Discord and Fable, as I know many like these options. Discord and Fable are not particularly popular at the moment; however, the book club is still in its first month.

TikTok is a different story; it’s going rather well. We have almost 1000 followers, and the account is now able to go LIVE. Content posted is receiving positive engagement. A recent video I posted calling out Indie Authors in Dark Fiction received a lot of interest, and following this, I will be making an addition to the website to list Indie Authors and their books.

Happy Reading,

Kaleigh

Why Dark Fiction?

In general, people who enjoy dark-themed books are deemed less than in society, weirdos/crazy, etc., especially if you read `Dark Romance, ' which is demonised all over Booktok / Bookstagram. Midnight
